Emily H. Doan, DDS

A native of Orange County, California, Dr. Emily completed dual BS degrees in Mathematics and Biological Sciences at the University of California, Irvine. Subsequently, she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the prestigious University of the Pacific in San Francisco in 2001, where she was a recipient of numerous awards. She is happily married to Dr. Thomas Nguyen, a physician at the Visalia Medical Clinic. They have one young son.

Philip H. Doan, DDS

Dr. Philip grew up in Orange County, California. He completed his BS degree in Biological Sciences - Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. He received his DDS degree in 2005 at the University of the Pacific in beautiful San Francisco, where he met his classmate and future spouse Dr. Gwen Nguyen. He practiced in both Northern and Southern California for a few years, until he and his spouse decided to call the Central Valley their home. He has undergone numerous additional training in Implant Dentistry in Los Angeles.

Quyen B. Nguyen, DDS

Dr. Gwen hailed from San Jose, California. She graduated with a BS degree in Psychology from Santa Clara University in her hometown. Following the footsteps of her mother and brother, she became a dentist in 2005 with a degree from the University of the Pacific, San Francisco. There, she met Dr. Philip and they were soon married after dental school. They settled in Visalia, which is the perfect half way point between their respective families. She received an additional 2 years of training in Orthodontics through the Progressive Orthodontics Seminars program in Orange County.

Alfonse Doan, DDS

Dr. Alfonse completed his DDS degree closer to home at the University of California, Los Angeles. He went on to become a Pediatric Specialist at New York University. He has travelled extensively to third world countries to provide humanitarian dentistry, as well as to underserved remote places right here in the United States. He currently works in Los Angeles and travels to Visalia and Hanford a few days a month to provide dentistry to children in the area.
